SEAK was approached by the Feddes Family following their acquisition of the Amsterdam Meat Shop in Amsterdam Montana. The Feddes Family had hopes to open a small café and deli operation within the existing meat shop and were informed by the local health department that a Public Water Supply would be necessary to move forward with this endeavor. SEAK in conjunction with Van Dyken Drilling assisted the Feddes Family in converting an existing well on the property drilled in 1963 to a public water supply source. Small parcel size, existing well construction, and nearby sewer mains, were all hurdles that were overcome in securing the DEQ’s approval of the water source as a public drinking water supply.
