Flatiron PUD

SEAK teamed with local and international developers, consultants, planners and designers to prepare the conceptual Flatiron PUD design in Big Sky Montana. SEAK led the County PUD planning entitlement efforts to secure approval of 1440 mixed unit density on 350 acres of land in Gallatin County adjacent to Big Sky resort. Planning efforts included resource identification, real estate unit mix, road alignments, solar analysis, ski in-ski out accessibility, wastewater treatment options, wastewater collection, well water development, and water distribution networks. The Gallatin County Commission approved the PUD 6:0 following a lengthy public review process. SEAK also worked with The Montana Department of Environmental Quality to secure approval for two public water well supplies on the Madison County portion of the development. Flatiron is planned as a 20-year build out. Planning and development processes are still ongoing.
